Who it's for
For summer and a warm-up
29 kilometres, 160 m of climbing — together with Trop Wilka the easiest of our trails. Over half is tarmac and sealed roads, the rest forest roads and packed gravel. A short sandy stretch near Przybynów (about 400 m) and about 2 km of forest path on the way back through Sokole Góry — slow down there and, if needed, push the bike with **Walk Assist** (press and hold the lower assist button).
For families
The lake halfway round is a natural stop for a rest by the water. No rush, with a longer break — a relaxed half-day.
In Tour mode, no stops — 1h 45min. With a break at the lake — plan 3–4 hours.
Along the way
- km 0
WILK base
Start at the base in Olsztyn, this time heading straight south — on a cycle path, then into the forest.
- km 3–8
Forests south of Olsztyn, Skrajnica, Dębowiec
Forest roads and quiet tarmac between villages. Flat and quiet.
- km 9–12
Poraj
The lowest point of the loop (275 m). Through Poraj, in the upper Warta valley; finishing on a stretch of cycle path towards the lake.
- km 12–15
Lake Poraj (Jezioro Porajskie)
A reservoir on the Warta, created in 1978 by the dam at Poraj — about 5 km long, 5.5 km² of water. The trail follows the shore, in places a few dozen metres from the water. The best spot for a longer break.
- km 15–17
Masłońskie
A village on the lake. In the 19th century the Masłoński furnace operated here, smelting local iron ore.
- km 18–20
Ostrów and Przybynów
Turning back north. A short sandy stretch near Przybynów.
- km 21–24
Nowe Biskupice and Biskupice
A gentle climb to the highest point of the loop (370 m, km 23), then on towards Olsztyn.
- km 25–27
Sokole Góry
On a forest path along the edge of Sokole Góry. This is reserve land — stay on the marked way, don’t ride off into the forest; the reserve itself is for walkers.
- km 29.4
Back at base
Along the cycle path back to the base.
