We don't have forty bikes or "activity packages". We have five e-bikes and six of our own loops, plus a few hundred kilometres of the Jura we know better than our own backyard.
Every bike checked morning and evening. Panniers and child trailers fit every Cube. There's always coffee at base.

What guests
say
I recommend this place, the owners are very nice. It's a great base for cycling in the Jura, and they have great bikes for rent, especially the Focus Jam2 – an unforgettable ride.
Professional, top-of-the-line equipment, and a great rental company who offers local advice and guidance. I recommend it to both amateur and advanced e-cyclists.
Super modern equipment, beautiful surroundings. The owner is friendly and helpful. I recommend it!
I recommend it! The equipment is top-notch, well-maintained, and fully functional, making the ride comfortable and hassle-free. The owner is a huge plus – very kind, helpful, and committed. Professional service and excellent equipment make it a great base for family trips to the Jura.
On the long weekend in June, I landed in the Jura Mountains with my son, and even though we brought our own bikes, we decided to try electric bikes. I'd explored the Jura Mountains on foot, but this time I wanted to see a little more. I found Paweł's rental shop on Google, and it was a hit. He was a very kind and down-to-earth man with extensive knowledge of the surrounding area. The CUBE bikes are absolutely fantastic. I recommend everyone try them out because we didn't want to get off them! After a full day of riding, we returned with smiles from ear to ear. It was incredible fun, and I'm adding Paweł's rental shop to my favorites as a great base!
Questions
and answers.
How much does it cost to rent an e-bike in the Polish Jura?
CUBE Reaction Hybrid Pro 800 — from 200 PLN per day. FOCUS JAM² — from 300 PLN per day. The longer you rent, the less you pay per day:
| Bike | 1 day | 2 days | 3 days | 4 days | Each extra |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CUBE Reaction Hybrid Pro 800 | 200 zł | 380 zł | 550 zł | 720 zł | +170 zł |
| FOCUS JAM² | 300 zł | 560 zł | 780 zł | 1000 zł | +220 zł |
Included: helmet, lock, charger, pump, trail map and phone mount (USB-C).
Where do I pick up the bike?
Our base in Olsztyn Jurajski: ul. Jodłowa 1, 42-256 Olsztyn Jurajski (corner of Sobieskiego street). Coordinates: 50.7484 N · 19.2650 E. Every ride into the Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska (the Polish Jura) starts here.
Do I need e-bike experience or special fitness?
No. The pedal-assist motor opens the Jura up to everyone — whatever your fitness, age or experience. The motor helps your normal pedalling and cuts out above 25 km/h — this isn't a moped, so you don't need a licence or registration. Before you head out we give you a short walk-through and fit the bike to your height. The renter must be at least 18; the youngest rider on a group trip — 12. Full rules in the rental terms.
How do I book a bike?
Online — 4 steps, 3 minutes, no account needed. The booking fee equals the first day's rental and you pay it by card, BLIK or Przelewy24 — paying the first day concludes the rental contract on the terms set out in the rental terms. The balance is settled at pick-up. At pick-up you need a photo ID (national ID card or passport).
Is there a deposit?
Yes — 500 PLN per bike, taken at pick-up (cash preferred) and refunded after you return the bike with no damage.
What are your opening hours and season?
Every day (7/7) from 08:00 to 20:00, the whole 30 May – 31 Oct 2026 season. Pick-up and drop-off happen within those hours — please tell us a rough time at booking so we can have the bike ready.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancel more than 7 days before your rental starts and we refund 100% of the booking fee. 7 days or less — no refund. Details in the rental terms.
Can I extend the rental while I'm out on the trail?
Yes, as long as the bike isn't booked by the next guest — just give us a call. Each extra day is charged per the price list, payable on return.
What's included, and what costs extra?
Included: helmet, lock, charger, pump, trail map and a phone mount with USB-C charging. Available on site at extra cost: panniers, child trailer.
What's the range on a single charge?
Realistically in Jura conditions:
- CUBE Reaction Hybrid Pro 800 — 60–120 km
- FOCUS JAM² — 40–80 km
Range depends on the assist mode, the weight on the bike (panniers etc.), the terrain and the wind. Eco on flat ground uses the least; Turbo uphill with a load uses the most. We'll help you pick a mode for your planned route at the base.
What if the bike breaks down out on the trail?
Call us right away — you get the number at pick-up (it's also on the frame). Where we can, we'll drive out to you with a spare bike or bring you back to base (roughly within 40 km of Olsztyn Jurajski).
What if I get caught in a storm or heavy rain?
The e-bike handles rain fine, but a thunderstorm means getting off open ground and waiting it out somewhere safe (not under a lone tree, not on a rocky outcrop). If the weather suddenly turns, give us a call — where possible we'll drive out to you. Check the forecast before you leave (we like meteo.imgw.pl and blitzortung.org for storms). We don't recommend riding in an active thunderstorm.
Are there places I can't ride?
Yes — you ride on public roads, forest roads open to cyclists and marked cycle trails. Don't ride into the Sokole Góry nature reserve — inside you move on foot along marked trails, and riding in risks a fine.
Where can I rent an electric bike in the Polish Jura?
Our base is in Olsztyn near Częstochowa, at the foot of the castle ruins — in the heart of the Polish Jura (Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska). From here you ride straight onto the Trail of the Eagles' Nests (Szlak Orlich Gniazd), up to Olsztyn castle, towards Sokole Góry and Złoty Potok. An e-bike opens these directions to everyone, whatever your fitness — explore the Jura at your own pace along our GPS-mapped routes.
Can I reach Olsztyn Castle and the Trail of the Eagles' Nests on an electric bike?
Yes. Our base sits at the foot of the Olsztyn castle ruins near Częstochowa, so the Trail of the Eagles' Nests is right on the doorstep. Our described GPS routes also head towards Sokole Góry and Złoty Potok — you ride on your own, at your own pace, following ready-made navigation. The electric bike's assist means the Jura's climbs are no longer an obstacle.
Can I rent an electric bike when riding with children?
The renter (the party to the contract) must be an adult — at least 18 years old. Minors from 12 years may join a group ride. For the youngest we offer a child trailer, available for an extra fee on site. A helmet and lock are included with every bike.
Which Jura cycling route should I pick for my first ride?
For a warm-up we recommend “Trop Wilka” — the easiest of our six routes (about 24.7 km). Every route is described and available as ready-made GPS navigation, so you explore the Jura at your own pace. Save the longer, harder loops (e.g. “Wataha”, “Wilcza Noc”) for the next day — with an electric bike, distance is no barrier.
